# Cegelec selects MIS for a bathymetry project in the Congo

Cegelec selected M.I.S., in partnership with Thales Navigation, to equip the service vessels of the Régie des Voies Maritimes (RVM, the Congolese maritime waterways authority) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

MIS supplied the bathymetry hardware and software for these vessels (river survey launches, buoy tenders and dredgers), as part of a World Bank-funded project to rehabilitate the Congo River.
