The French daily newspaper Libération picked the [GeoGarage](http://www.geogarage.com) site as its site of the day on Thursday 7 February, for the online display of the [Cassini map of France](http://rumsey.geogarage.com/maps/cassinige.html) overlaid on [Google Maps](http://rumsey.geogarage.com).

The article in Libération's Écrans section and its comments, along with the Zorgloob blog, created a buzz, which put our server's load handling to the test: several thousand connections, with peaks of up to 360 simultaneous active connections and over 70 Mbit/s of traffic.
