# MIS wins the Mégalis ICT/Broadband call for projects

M.I.S. wins the interregional ICT/Broadband call for projects of Brittany and Pays de la Loire, which aims to foster new broadband uses and services.

Building on its early work on [GeoMovie](/en/historique/geomovie/), a technology for georeferencing digital video developed for underwater footage, MIS decided to apply this know-how to land-based imagery with GeoPict.

Thanks to the Mégalis project, MIS thus plans to develop an application of this GeoPict technology: [ImmerCity](http://misoft.online.fr/ImmerCity/ImmerCity.html), a dynamic map portal for distributing georeferenced panoramic urban video, expected to be available in early 2006.

The project was covered in a press article by Amplitel, by the MEITO, and in an article by the AtlanSTIC research cluster (the IRCCyN and LINA research laboratories), which is associated with the project.

To fund this project, M.I.S. also received support from OSEO anvar, in the form of an innovation grant.
