# Olex and Simrad: a worldwide distribution agreement

The Norwegian company Olex AS has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with Simrad AS, for the OEM manufacture and sale of new Simrad products integrating the Olex system.

In France, Simrad markets a complete package called CM60/1: the Olex software on dedicated hardware, interfaced with a Simrad digital echo sounder of type EQ60, EQ60BB, EP60, EP60BB or ES60. This system includes the echogram and seabed hardness option as standard.

However, **distribution of the Olex software** on its own, as a licence, remains **exclusively handled in France by M.I. Software**.

This software solution is flexible, as it adapts to every configuration:

- integration with the GPS and echo sounder already installed on board;
- choice of GPS and echo sounder from the many brands and models on the market;
- or purchase of specific hardware, such as the new Simrad digital echo sounders, interfaced with Olex through the seabed hardness option.

Likewise, M.I. Software leaves its customers free to choose the computer hardware (PC and screen) best suited to their use, as well as the supplier that guarantees them the best after-sales service at the best cost.
